Bootcamp Fund

Nominate yourself or someone else for Bootcamp Fund assistance while nominations are open.

Nominate a Bootcamp Fund recipient

Use the Bootcamp Fund page to explain who needs assistance and why cost would otherwise prevent attendance.

  1. Open the Bootcamp Fund action from the event page.
  2. Sign in and complete your profile if the site asks for it.
  3. Choose whether you are nominating yourself or someone else.
  4. Explain why the nominee should receive Bootcamp Fund assistance.
  5. Select the types of assistance being requested.
  6. Submit the nomination for organizer review.
  7. Watch your email or in-app inbox for organizer follow-up.

Notes

  • Use a clear explanation so organizers have enough context to review the request.
  • You cannot submit a second Bootcamp Fund nomination for the same event from the same account.

Choose requested assistance

Conference admission is included with every grant. A nomination can also ask for optional event-related assistance.

  1. Select Travel expenses when travel cost is part of the request, and include where the nominee would travel from.
  2. Select Hotel expenses when lodging cost is part of the request.
  3. Select Other assistance only when the need is not covered by conference admission, travel, or hotel.
  4. Describe any other assistance clearly enough for organizers to evaluate it.

After submitting

Organizers review Bootcamp Fund nominations from the event administration tools.

  1. Wait for organizers to review the nomination.
  2. Check email and the in-app inbox for the decision or for follow-up questions.
  3. If conference-fee assistance is approved, use the organizer-provided registration link before it expires or is revoked.
  4. Follow any travel, hotel, or other-assistance instructions sent by the organizers.

Notes

  • Decisions and approved assistance are handled by organizers; the public nomination page only submits the request.
