Before the event
Register from the event page and complete your registration details.
Register for the event
Registration starts from the event page and then asks only for the information needed for the active event setup.
- Open the current event page and choose the registration action.
- After first account setup, use the thank-you page's Registration button if the site takes you there automatically.
- Choose the registration category or VSI role shown to you, then check attendee details, first-time attendee option, and any event-specific choices.
- Review any payment or confirmation step before submitting.
- If a paid registration opens an external payment form, keep the page open while it loads; Bootcamp-controlled details such as your name, email, price, and registration type are filled in where possible, while the form may still ask payment or billing questions based on your choices.
- After submitting, open My Registration to confirm your status and update choices that remain editable.
Notes
- Confirmation and action emails are also copied to the in-app inbox when the app sends them.
- If you cannot find an expected email, check spam and then check the in-app inbox.
- For paid registrations, contact the organizers at info@vmssoftware.com if the external payment form does not load or if prefilled details look wrong.
Complete your profile and preferences
Your profile is shared across events, while registration choices are specific to the current event.
- Open your account avatar menu, then Profile, to update your account profile.
- Correct your first or last name there if the name from your VMS Software account was not the one you want shown in Bootcamp.
- Review topic interests so session suggestions, networking, and staff views use current information.
- Open communication preferences to choose which non-essential reminders you want to receive.
- Open privacy settings when you want to review consent choices, request a data export, or submit a privacy request.
Install and prepare the app
Install the app before traveling so the browser has time to cache the event pages and public agenda data.
- Open App setup.
- Follow the device-specific install instructions shown there.
- Allow notifications when you want browser push messages for reminders, event updates, and networking alerts.
- Open the agenda or session list once while online after major event updates so fresh data is available offline.
Notes
- On Android, use Chrome to install the app; Samsung Internet currently has known PWA installation issues.
- Offline actions sync when the connection returns, but staff-only actions and capacity-sensitive actions still need a live connection.
