Use an ambassador invitation

Use the personal invitation link from the organizer email rather than starting from ordinary registration.

1. Open the OpenVMS Ambassador invitation email.
2. Use the personal registration link in that message.
3. Sign in or create an account when the site asks for it.
4. Complete your profile and privacy steps if prompted.
5. Continue through registration and confirm that the category is OpenVMS Ambassador.
6. Submit the registration.

Notes

• The invitation link can be used by one signed-in account only.
• Do not forward the invitation link unless organizers explicitly tell you to.

If the link does not work

An ambassador link may stop working after it has been used or if the invitation is no longer valid for the event.

1. Check that you opened the full link from the latest organizer email.
2. Sign in with the account that should own the registration.
3. If the site says the invitation is unavailable or already used, contact the organizers at info@vmssoftware.com.
4. Do not use ordinary registration as a replacement unless organizers tell you to.

After ambassador registration

Once registered, ambassadors use the same event tools as other attendees, plus any organizer instructions sent to them.

1. Open My Registration to review registration status and attendee details.
2. Install the app before traveling.
3. Use Agenda when the event schedule is available.
4. Use Networking if the event has networking enabled and you want to be visible in the attendee directory.
5. Watch email and the in-app inbox for event messages aimed at OpenVMS Ambassadors.
